LGM Records presents A Night at The…Groucho. Intimate singer- songwriter showcases, amalgamating some of best talent that the music industry has to offer alongside the latest up and coming artists.

This month we are delighted to announce an unbelievable lineup, including:

MARTHA WAINWRIGHT

Martha was born in New York City to folk legends Kate McGarrigle and Loudon Wainwright III. She is Rufus Wainwright’s sister and they often collaborate in shows and on records. Martha is also half-sister to Lucy Wainwright Roche and they recently made a record together, ‘Songs In The Dark’ to much acclaim including a JUNO nomination. Martha tours her music around the world to sold out audiences on several continents. She has spent time on the silver screen playing characters in Martin Scorsese’s “Aviator” and more recently in the HBO special “Olive Kitteridge” alongside Frances McDormand.

BRYDE

Bryde, has been compared to the likes of Jeff Buckley, Sharron Van Etten, Ben Howard & London Grammar. Her previous band, Paper Aeroplanes, embarked on a series of epic dates across Europe, selling out many iconic venues including London’s Union Chapel, Hamburg’s Prinzenbar and Whelan’s in Dublin, whilst also picking up widespread radio play from the likes of Steve Lamacq, Dermot O’Leary, Cerys Matthews, Tom Robinson, Lauren Laverne and Bob Harris along the way. Bryde’s recent support slot opening for Rufus Wainwright and this show alongside Martha Wainwright prove that her voice can stand up amongst the greats.

GEORGE TAYLOR

After a string of writing, recording sessions and gigs in Los Angeles, New York City and Woodstock, George Taylor is back in the UK and has announced tours with Will Joseph Cook and San Diego group Augustana. His debut single “Give It Up’ has over half a million plays on Spotify and is hotly tipped to take the 2017 charts by storm.

AMY YON

Amy has been quietly working on her debut material, collaborating with Badly Drawn Boy and Starsailor’s James Walsh among many others. Her striking voice and delicate songwriting has led us to believe that she has a fantastic career ahead of her.
