Panel Discussion with Ed Stourton

Wednesday 18th March 2015, 6pm

For many journalists, for too long, religion has been an irrelevant, no-go area. Not anymore. “Religion has never been more tangible in world affairs and public life” wrote AA Gill in the Sunday Times.

In the Daily Telegraph, Edward Stourton wrote “For millions of human beings, religion is what comes to mind when you think about who you are. Failing to recognise it can lead to serious journalistic mistakes.”

With a panel of editors and correspondents, BBC broadcaster Ed Stourton will explore how the media need to raise their game and show a greater understanding of faith, both at home and abroad.
