The whole biennale is really accessible, very impressive…Let’s hope the London Design Biennale is the resounding success it deserves to be.”

Tabish Khan, Londonist

Taking over the entirety of Somerset House, including The Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court and River Terrace, the London Design Biennale explores big questions and ideas about sustainability, migration, pollution, energy, cities, and social equality. You can get food and juice in Lebanon, enter a virtual world in Spain, send your wish flying physically round the West Wing from Turkey, see Mexico’s impressive display of their plans for an immense border city (might be put on ice this one!), Russia’s lost archive of Utopian dreams never fulfilled plus lots more …

Only 30 places available.

The inaugural edition of this design gala brings eye-opening visions of utopia from all corners of the globe reminds you of the power of critical, speculative, truly utopian design.”
