Housekeeper

The Groucho Club is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to be part of our housekeeping team. The Housekeeper promotes a positive image of The Groucho Club to our members and guests through positive and friendly demeanour and is able to address problems or special requests. The Housekeeper ensures that bedrooms and public areas are clean, tidy and inviting for our guests. The Housekeeper has exceptional attention to detail and has the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • To clean, to the agreed standards in all Club areas; to maintain areas in a clean, tidy and hygienic state, including bed making, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, cleaning bathrooms/showers and WC’s, removing rubbish
  • To report all maintenance faults and health and safety concerns to the House Supervisor or House Manager
  • To maintain security and safety of allocated area and keys, ensuring keys are not left unattended at any times
  • Ironing on occasions
  • To ensure that lost and left property is bagged, recorded and given to the House Supervisor or House Manager
  • To go the extra mile to offer top class customer service

  • Knowledge of health and safety ideally including COSHH, risks in housekeeping tasks, manual handling would be desirable
