Membership

Following are the procedures for applying for membership of The Groucho Club:

  1. Download a copy of the application here, or obtain a form from The Groucho Club itself.
  2. Complete the application form in full.
  3. Have the application signed by a proposer and a seconder.
  4. Return the completed application to the Membership Secretary of The Groucho Club.

To aid the Committee in making a decision it would be helpful to include a list of credits or a brief synopsis of your work when returning your form.

At this point, the proposer and seconder will be contacted by us and asked to produce letters of commendation for you. Once these are received, the membership application form along with the letters of commendation will be reviewed at the next available Membership Committee Meeting.

In the event that your application is accepted you may be placed on the waiting list before being granted full membership.

To Make A Nomination

Should an existing member wish to propose someone for membership, their recommendations will be welcomed by the Membership Committee. All that is required is a completed application form obtainable from the link above, by speaking with Reception at the Club, or from our Membership Secretary Miriam Brown.
