LGM LIVE present intimate songwriter showcases, amalgamating some of best talent that the music industry has to offer, with the latest up and coming artists.

We have yet another amazing lineup for you which features Eliza and The Bear, Samuel Jack, Albert Gold and Tommy Ashby.

ELIZA AND THE BEAR
Eliza and the Bear released their debut album on Capitol Records last year and have since racked up over 10 million plays on Spotify.  Their singles have been synced everywhere from Sky Movies, a Masterchef final and the BBC’sOlympics coverage to a cider advert and a daytime TV gardening show they’d rather not discuss. Having  supported bands like Paramore on their U.K. tour, where they played a sold-out Wembley Arena, the band are a seasoned live act and we are very excited to be hosting them at the Groucho Club.

REN HARVIEU
With a voice that only comes around once a generation, Ren Harvieu was signed to Universal Music when she was only 18. Her debut album ‘Through the Night’ was released on Island Records and peaked at number 5 in the UK album charts. She has previously written and recorded with writers such as Ed Harcourt and Jimmy Hogarth (Amy Winehouse, Duffy) and is now working on a collaboration with The Magic Numbers’ Romeo Stodart, who will be joining her onstage at the Groucho Club.

SAMUEL JACK
2017 has seen some exciting movements for Samuel Jack. With support at BBC Radio 2 from Graham Norton, BBC Introducing, BBC Bristol and BBC London, Samuel’s releases have enjoyed top 40 chart positions and multiple playlist placement across digital streaming platforms. Samuel’s live activity has included a spring tour with Nell Bryden, a multitude of summer festival dates includingGlastonbury,Secret Garden Party, Dot to Dot and Greenbelt and European dates with Newton Faulkner and Young Gun Silver Fox.

ALBERT GOLD

Hackney singer-songwriter Albert Gold crafts music heavy with soul-tinged emotion. Bolstered by live shows for Communion, Tipping Point, BMI / The Fix, London In Stereo, Sofar Sounds and Good Karma, and backed by consistent airplay support from Huw Stephens at Radio 1 and Gary Crowley at BBC Introducing London, Albert Gold put the finishing touches to the ‘Second’ EP at Red Bull Studios in South London late September.

TOMMY ASHBY

Tommy spent his early twenties in academia, studying and modelling the human perception of sound.Upon finishing his PhD, he went straight out on the road supporting Rhodes on his tour of the UK and Europe. Further tours supporting Nina Nesbitt and Tom Speight followed, along with a sold out first London show at The Islington. His debut EP, recorded with Mercury music nominated producer Chris Bond (Ben Howard), was released in late November 2016 and entered at No.5 in the iTunes singer-songwriter chart.
