Helen Boaden is one of the great women in broadcasting in the UK. Join us as she says farewell to life at the BBC. Winner of Sony Awards for programmes on AIDS in Africa and bullying in Feltham Young Offenders Institute and holding three honorary degrees, she is one of the foremost women in broadcasting. She was also named one of the 100 most powerful women in the country by Woman’s Hour.

After spending more than 30 years and the BBC, including three as the Director of Radio, Helen Boaden is leaving the corporation. She’ll be mulling over her exit, life at the corporation, and what comes next.
