National Gallery: Colin Wiggins Tour

Colin Wiggins, Special Projects Curator at the National Gallery will lead a private tour, before opening hours, of his highlights of the National Gallery’s collection. Colin is responsible for the involvement of living artists in the life of the National Gallery and has curated exhibitions of distinguished contemporary artists such as Peter Blake, Paula Rego, Anthony Caro, Bridge Riley, Michael Landy and most recently, George Shaw.
The National Gallery’s collection consists of 2,362 paintings from the Middle Ages to the early 20th century. All major traditions of Western European painting are represented, from the painters of late medieval and Renaissance Italy to the French Impressionists, with artists including Titian, Monet, Velázquez, Rembrandt and Van Gogh.
