First making a name for himself in the late 1970’s as drummer for the New Wave band ‘The Rich Kids’ Rusty went on to form Visage with Midge Ure, fronted by Steve Strange and gained great success including the worldwide No 1 hit ‘Fade to Grey’. Rusty then joined Scotland’s finest ‘The Skids’ as drummer, recording and touring the second top ten album ‘Days in Europa’ Rusty Egan has been one of the most renowned DJ’s in London’s boutique nightclub circuit for over 25 years. He began his DJ career at the Blitz Club, London in the early 1980’s. As the club grew in popularity, Rusty was quickly recognised as an innovator within London’s nightlife and with Steve Strange opened the 1800 capacity Camden Palace.

Awarded “The Lifetime Achievement Award” at the 2010 London Club and Bar Awards Rusty continues to play on a weekly basis at many top clubs and has played in St. Tropez, Monaco, Geneva and Verbier. Every year he rocks the masses for four nights at The Isle of Wight Festival. In 2010 he joined wall of sound supremo Mark Jones at BESTIVAL for Back to the Phuture and during the summer months played at Aura Ibiza. Rusty DJ’d at the 2011 Brit Awards.
