The Media Society presents: President Trump Anyone? James Naughtie in Conversation

01st Jul 2016

Tuesday 5 July, 6.30pm

James Naughtie has been on the front line of journalism for more than 30 years, twenty of them in the Radio 4 Today studio. This year he is the Special Correspondent for the BBC covering one of the most controversial and unpredictable American elections ever.

In fact, he himself says he’s never seen anything like this one, despite covering the last eight US elections.

He’ll be in conversation with former Today editor Phil Harding, talking about Donald Trump, Hilary Clinton and the role of the American media.

We’ll also hear about UK politics, Scotland and the UK and look back on his distinguished career in journalism and, oh yes, that interview with Jeremy Hunt.
