LGM Live: Ian Dench (EMF), Amaroun, Mono Club, Jo Goes Hunting

LGM LIVE present intimate songwriter showcases, amalgamating some of best talent that the music industry has to offer, with the latest up and coming artists. Previous performers include Ed Harcourt, Chris Difford, Teddy Thompson, Starsailor, The Magic Numbers, Dan Croll, Kathryn Williams, Fiona Bevan, Goldheart Assembly, The Treetop Flyers, Samuel Jack and many more. 

This month we celebrate the launch of our record label, LGM Records, so come and join us for a night of wonderful music from some of our latest signings plus some very special guests. 

IAN DENCH

Ian’s band EMF had a worldwide smash hit with his song ‘Unbelievable’ and he has since gone on to write songs for dozens of hit singles for artists such as Beyonce, Shakira, Florence and the Machine, The Prodigy and Daniel Merriweather to name but a few.

JO GOES HUNTING

24-year-old Jimmi Jo Hueting is an award winning jazz drummer, multi-instrumentalist and pivotal creative force of Jo Goes Hunting. Signed to V2 Records for mainland Europe and LGM Records for the UK, their self-released debut single notched up over 600k plays on Spotify and has attracted plaudits across from across the globe.

AMAROUN

Coming out, moving up and not being kept down: Amaroun delivers her expansive confessionals straight from the skittering heartbeat of the city, crafting a truly unique form of kaleidoscopic pop music for the 21st century. Amaroun will be releasing two new singles on LGM Records in the coming months.

MONO CLUB

Mono Club’s debut single, Sky High and Submarine, went straight onto the 6Music playlist, where it stayed for over a month. Steve Lamacq has described them as one of his favourite new bands and they have received widespread support across 6Music and Radio X. Their debut album of the same title will be released on LGM Records in late 2017.
