Media Society presents Dame Ann Leslie in Conversation with Peter York
Dodging bullets and dictators from the frontlines…
The words ‘legend’ and ‘icon’ are often overused these days, but we’ve got no doubt the speaker at our next event deserves both.
Dame Ann Leslie will be in conversation with Peter York on Monday 31 October.
Since 1967 she has braved frontlines, bullets, dictators and other star egos to report for The Daily Mail. Her reporting has won her much acclaim – she holds no less than nine British Press Awards, two Lifetime Achievement Awards, a James Cameron Award and is in the Reuters Newspaper Hall of Fame as one of the most influential journalists of the last forty years.
Dame Ann Leslie will be telling her stories in her own words, but there will also be the opportunity to ask your own questions. As always, there’ll be the opportunity to network with others across the industry, promising an evening not to be missed.
